🚀 About us

We are Smartsupp, a team of 50 enthusiasts from different parts of the world, working on global SaaS (software as a service) in Brno. Smartsupp develops a conversational e-commerce platform that combines live chat and chatbots and helps companies communicate and reach out to their customers, collect quality leads and, thanks to this, increase sales. Our live chat is #1 in Central Europe. Smartsupp is actively used by over 70,000 websites and e-shops worldwide.

🔥 What are we working on now?

Currently, we are mainly working on optimizing our widget to reduce its loading time and thereby improve the lighthouse score. Furthermore, we are constantly developing and improving our chatbot, so that it doesn't only save our customer's time, but also facilitates the collection of quality leads and helps to automate the overall customer support. Thanks to this, our clients save time and money.

🤖 Our technology Stack (for the techies out there :)

We use modern technologies that have passed the "test of fire". At the core of our stack is TypeScript. The backend is built on Node.js. We have a database in PostgreSQL, MariaDB and Elastics. The servers run on Amazon Web Services. We code the frontend of the web application in React and Svelte. We use PHP/Nette in a few places (there is always some legacy code :). Our code lives on Github.

🧰 What tools do we use internally?

We use Trello and YouTrack for task management and Slack for team communication. We handle company mail and documents via G Suite from Google.

We started Smartsupp in 2013. From the beginning, we wanted to build a live chat that could be used by anyone and everyone. Product simplicity and fair pricing were key. Thanks to this, Smartsupp is used today by hundreds of thousands of companies and freelancers all over Europe.
